Hello, could you provide a link for the fourth issue? Thank you.

The fourth phase has been taken down and requires subsequent modifications.

Seeing your icon and nickname, I do feel familiar. I have seen you before on the Marx, Lenin, Mao forum.

I am somewhat older, I wonder if the forum accepts users like me? I notice that many self-introductions are from middle school or university students.

Who are you? There are no age restrictions on the forum, so I suggest you write a self-introduction as required and have a more thorough exchange with everyone.

We do have many students and many workers on our forum; your age and occupation do not affect communication.

I read on Baidu Baike that: medical personnel can use placebos to elicit the placebo effect in patients. When there is firm belief in a certain drug, it can enhance the therapeutic effect of that drug and improve the quality of medical care. When a new drug is introduced and its therapeutic value is evaluated, the placebo effect of the drug should be taken into account. If the efficacy of a new drug, after double-blind trials, is not significantly different from that of a placebo, its clinical value is not great. This is why some new drugs are often treated as panaceas when first released, but after a period of use their hype fades and their value declines. The placebo effect is ubiquitous in drug use. Even for serious organic diseases such as angina pectoris, more than 1/3 of patients experience symptom improvement with placebos, and many analgesics show evident placebo effects. There are also patients who, when using placebos, may experience adverse drug reactions such as nausea, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness, which also count as placebo effects.

Is there an article that starts by saying the placebo effect is not reliable? Is it truly scientific? Do revisionists need to write about medicine to correct the record?

Revisionists obviously try to meddle in every issue; the worldview issue is the most fundamental.
